After much deliberation mainly over what to call a blog about cake, other craft, but mostly cake. I finally decided on a name. Don’t get me wrong some friends gave me three solid suggestions; 

– The Rabid Giblet Diaries

– Eat me, Craft me, Love me baby!

– Beaten not stirred. 

But none of them made me feel clean, sane or like a sexy bond girl  really screamed me.

Thought I’d share a couple of photos I took of a bunch of rose ripple macaroons with vanilla or rose buttercream I made for a quick spot of afternoon tea. Unfortunately it rained but I think the macaroons (or macarons) still managed to style it out. 

 

 mmm..time for a midnight macaroon?
